wishful thinking

i like the idea of a possible movie. maybe a good chance to sell those dvds too! kulit ko dinnnn! i'd go for a spin-off though. (it'd be too much to ask them to come up with a movie for the mulawin ending so fast, quality may be compromised. but while we're at it.

movie ideas? :)
*aviona (its been proven that she has a strong following) going somewhere to search for love, but instead finds herself (who she really is)? i just realized i don't know her lineage. everybody else in mulawin is connected to someone by blood... except her! (gasp!)
*or gabriel (picking up from whatever happens to him at the conclusion of this series)?
*or something abt the hiyas? (or maybe this will be taken up in encantadia?)
*the next generation perhaps (but with some main characters involved)?

... but the risk of too much saturation has still to be considered. o well. kaya wishful thinking lang naman e. pagbigyan.

it's all about choice...

destiny is one thing. circumstances is another. but the bible mentions (forgot the verse) not to worry abt the future, and focus on the present. what is important is for decision. NOW. it is choosing who you become, despite knowing who you are. circumstances then become your challenge and not influences, and destiny your own chosen path and purpose.

remembering

i just read southrock's summary "firewalkers" (he does a good job of writing, btw). the scene where despair was beginning to prevail the two characters, there came a call and a series of flashbacks, telling them to rise above their situation.

some key phrases to mention:
* “Where there is uncertainty, faith must prevail”
* Only faith could save them; faith in a Divine Providence that would never try men beyond their capacity to endure.
* "‘He who asks will receive. He who seeks will find.’ All we have to do is ask.”

excellent.
and if you put it in light of the recent tsunami crisis, this episode really touched a chord.
